IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2026
Eligibility varies according to the post. Candidates should satisfy the required age, educational qualification, experience, nationality and local-language conditions.
Educational Qualification
- Office Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent. Local-language proficiency is required; working knowledge of computers is desirable.
- Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent. Preference is given to specified banking, finance, agriculture, IT, management, law, economics and accountancy backgrounds.
- Officer Scale II – General Banking Officer: Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and two years’ experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
- Officer Scale II – Specialist: Relevant professional/technical qualification and prescribed experience depending on the specialist post.
- Officer Scale III: Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and minimum five years’ experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
The required educational result must have been declared on or before 21 September 2026.
